Utah Sound Money - Gold and Silver as Legal Tender
The Utah Legal Tender Act continues to move forward as two bills pass through the house on Friday March 2, 2012. The goal of these two bills is to promote the use of gold and silver as legal tender within the state of Utah and provide a stable economy through the use of sound money. Interestingly there are certain representatives that share feelings against the bill and one that even goes so far as to say that Precious Metals have no intrinsic value.
